RULES & GENERAL INFORMATION
· The library is for quiet research and study.
· No food, beverages, or backpacks are allowed in the library.
· Computers should only be used for research/school work. Therefore there should be no playing games, no videos or video clips, no chatting, no accessing social sites, forums or inappropriate sites, and no emailing though any programs other than FirstClass (our school board’s email/communication system).
· Loan period: 2 weeks for books, although in most cases renewals are possible
· Check-out limit: 10 items, with a maximum of 3 books on a specific topic.
· Overdue materials: fines of 25 cents a book per day are levied on overdue items.
Please note that at the end of each semester, students’ marks are withheld until overdue dines are paid and all library books are returned.
RESOURCES & SERVICES
· The library has 24 computers with Internet access.
· Printing, scanning and photocopying services are available for a small fee.
· Print resources include over 10, 000 books as well as magazines, newspapers and Vertical File materials. To search for books in our collection, click on “Quick Links” then select “iPAC, Lo-Ellen’s Library Catalogue”.
